The novel is the true story of all forms of colonialism in Papua Indonesia. In this story, I put myself in two positions at once, namely as victims and as witnesses. I became a victim for two reasons. First, because I experienced it myself. Second, because it also experienced by our ancestors and brothers and sisters, among them my compatriots and I are bound by "blood" biological and nationality. I am a witness because it all happened in front of my eyes and told for generations by my parents and our forefathers before.
Expenses as victims and witnesses can not be me buried. Yes, it's like a time bomb just waiting for time to explode. My inability as humans to absorb it all, finally exploding in this novel, although I realize that I - as all of the Papuans - were forced to drown all sorrow sings in arms rifles, boots, bayonet knives and fire and various other silly ridicule. I do not care at all and lazy to know the form of accountability demanded by this country to me if it is considered a "rebel" or "separatist" or "subversion" by telling the story of my suffering and my people. 

I tell him all that I experienced grief and sorrow I witnessed in accordance with the passage of time since I was born with my own identity until now. All the violence and insults that often ends in death "in the name of" national sovereignty and unity of the nation can be read in any piece of this novel.
